Founder of Cardiac Vision, Dr. Junaid Ahmed is a graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and completed a residency in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. Following a fellowship in general cardiology at the University of Florida at Shands Jacksonville, he joined East Coast Cardiology in Jacksonville, where he practiced prior to establishing Cardiac Vision. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and is a member of the American College of Cardiology – Sports Cardiology and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Ahmed is trained in various aspects of nuclear cardiology and has completed training and received COCATS certification in the following: Echo, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, exercise testing, ambulatory monitoring, left and right heart catheterization, diagnostic coronary angiography, cardiopulmonary exercise stress tests, carotid-ABI-vascular ultrasounds,  and arrhythmias. He has authored and co-authored a number of cardiology posters and publications and has served as a presenter at multiple cardiology events.

A former competitive athlete, Dr. Ahmed now enjoys recreational sports, basketball, weightlifting, CrossFit training, volleyball, and surfing. His background in sports is what fuels his desire to ensure athletes of all abilities receive appropriate cardiovascular evaluation and the training guidance needed to enable them to compete safely and at their highest ability.

Dr. Ahmed is conversationally and medically fluent in Hindi and Spanish and his keen appreciation of history, culture and traditions has led him to embark on extensive world travel.

Dr. Puneet D Grewal is a Board Certified Cardiologist and IM doctor with more than 12 years of extensive training and practical experience in patient care and team leadership across both the cardiology specialty and internal medicine field.

Ambitious, detail-oriented Doctor with a proven track record of delivering quality, personalized care to high-volume, diverse patient populations. Driven, compassionate leader leveraging strong interpersonal skills and a sound medical background to coordinate with physicians in determining appropriate treatment plans for patients while training residents in best practices. Enthusiastic, results-driven professional with experience serving as Chief Medical Officer for a high-growth, high-potential healthcare Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) startup company.

She Graduated out of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science North Chicago. She also served as site program director for cardiology fellowship program.

Rehan Shah, MD

Rehan Shah, MD received his training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He has gained valuable experience by treating a very diverse population with vast pathology in the New York area. He currently serves as Medical Director on Inpatient Dialysis units giving him first hand knowledge and expertise in Kidney Disease and Dialysis.

He currently is Founder and CEO of Renviva, a Physician owned and Led Dialysis Provider focused on bringing Dialysis services to the Home and onsite at SNFs.

Most recently, CardioRenal Therapeutics, LLC was formed to bring not only Dialysis services to SNF’s but provide onsite Cardiology and Nephrology care. This full spectrum of care provides an integrated care approach to SNF’s, thereby improving patient outcomes and decreasing costs by reducing hospital admissions.

Farhan Khan, MD

Farhan Khan, MD has over a decade of experience in bringing the most innovative and healing aspects of renal care to his diverse patient population. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He graduated summa laude from UNIBE Medical School and completed his dual medical residency program at the University of Illinois in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He went on to complete his fellowship and training in Nephrology at the University of Missouri. He has obtained advanced training in Interventional Nephrology.

Dr. Khan currently serves as the Chair of Intensive Care at FHN. He is the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of RenViva, a physician-owned dialysis company that provides dialysis services to patients at home, as well as patients who are in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Dr. Khan has a strong reputation of delivering superior care and consultation services which focus on kidney disease prevention. As a highly trained expert in his field, he diagnoses and treats ailments such as diabetic nephropathy, edema, hypertension, hematuria, UTI, and chronic kidney disease. Most recently, he is involved in an integrative approach to treating patients by collaborating nephrology and cardiology services to patients across the spectrum with the formation of CardioRenal Therapeutics, LLC.

Dr. Khan grew up in Long Island, New York and currently resides in the Chicago area with his wife and two young boys. He plays softball and coaches baseball for the youth in his community.
