Founder of Cardiac Vision, Dr. Junaid Ahmed is a graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and completed a residency in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. Following a fellowship in general cardiology at the University of Florida at Shands Jacksonville, he joined East Coast Cardiology in Jacksonville, where he practiced prior to establishing Cardiac Vision. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and is a member of the American College of Cardiology – Sports Cardiology and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Ahmed is trained in various aspects of nuclear cardiology and has completed training and received COCATS certification in the following: Echo, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, exercise testing, ambulatory monitoring, left and right heart catheterization, diagnostic coronary angiography, cardiopulmonary exercise stress tests, carotid-ABI-vascular ultrasounds,  and arrhythmias. He has authored and co-authored a number of cardiology posters and publications and has served as a presenter at multiple cardiology events.

A former competitive athlete, Dr. Ahmed now enjoys recreational sports, basketball, weightlifting, CrossFit training, volleyball, and surfing. His background in sports is what fuels his desire to ensure athletes of all abilities receive appropriate cardiovascular evaluation and the training guidance needed to enable them to compete safely and at their highest ability.

Dr. Ahmed is conversationally and medically fluent in Hindi and Spanish and his keen appreciation of history, culture and traditions has led him to embark on extensive world travel.

Rehan Shah, MD received his training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He has gained valuable experience by treating a very diverse population with vast pathology in the New York area. He currently serves as Medical Director on Inpatient Dialysis units giving him first hand knowledge and expertise in Kidney Disease and Dialysis.

He currently is Founder and CEO of Renviva, a Physician owned and Led Dialysis Provider focused on bringing Dialysis services to the Home and onsite at SNFs.

Most recently, CardioRenal Therapeutics, LLC was formed to bring not only Dialysis services to SNF’s but provide onsite Cardiology and Nephrology care. This full spectrum of care provides an integrated care approach to SNF’s, thereby improving patient outcomes and decreasing costs by reducing hospital admissions.

Dr. Khan received his bachelor’s degree at the Universidad Iberoamericana. He completed his residency with the University of Illinois and his fellowship with the University of Missouri. He completed his study in Interventional Nephrology through working with Renal Care Associates. He has a professional membership with American Medical Association, American Society of Nephrology, American Society of Diagnostic Interventional Nephrology, and National Kidney Foundation.

Before becoming a Co-Founder of CardioRenal Therapeutics RenViva, he served as a medical director over numerous dialysis units. He is a practicing nephrologist in Freeport and Rockford, Illinois.

His additional training in interventional nephrology gives him substantial insight into all aspects of treatment, which emphasizes RenViva’s belief of providing complete and integrated patient care.
